HOW MUCH DO LEGAL SERVICES COST? PRICES OF OUR MOST COMMON LEGAL SERVICES

We often encounter questions about how much legal services cost or what amount of investment to count on when seeking the help of a lawyer or law firm. Even if they receive information about an hourly rate, in many cases most people can‘t imagine how time-consuming an individual action is, regardless of the mandatory fees they have to pay beyond the rate of legal advisers.

We’ve therefore decided to determine the indicative prices of the most common acts and services that we regularly encounter in our practice. This is to show both the fixed fees of the authorities and the approximate rate at which our law firm can handle the case under standard procedures according to pre-agreed conditions and documents from the client (of course, we determine the exact price on the basis of consultation with the client in each case). In these following examples, we count with our hourly rate of CZK 2,500 (without VAT).

The stated times and prices reflect our experience and work. Another office or legal adviser may (in addition to fixed administrative or other fees) offer different prices.

Trademark registration in the Czech Republic: CZK 8,000 (without VAT)

The service includes:

• An initial search in the register of trademarks, classification in the list of products and services, completing and filing a trademark application with the Industrial Property Office.

The price of the service does not include:

• An administrative fee (CZK 5,000) for the application of an individual trademark in three classes of products and services. The fee for each additional class of products and services over three classes is CZK 500.

European Union trademark registration: CZK 13,000 (without VAT)

The service includes:

• An initial search in the register of trademarks, classification in the list of products and services, completing and filing a trademark application with the European Union Intellectual Property Office.

The price of the service does not include:

• An administrative fee for the application for an individual mark of EUR 850 for one class of goods and services, EUR 50 for a second class of goods and services and EUR 150 for a third and every other class of goods and services.

Preparation of a reservation contract and a real estate purchase contract with an attorney escrow of a purchase price: from CZK 10,000 (without VAT)

The service includes:

• Preparation of a a reservation contract and a purchase contract (incl. 0.5 hours for the incorporation of clients comments on the contract), preparation of an application for the permission to enter a record into the Land Register and escrow of the purchase price.

Preparation of a real estate donation contract: from CZK 5,000 (without VAT)

The service includes:

• Preparation of a donation contract (incl. 0,5 hours for the incorporation of clients comments on the contract) and preparation of an application for the permission to enter a record into the Land Register.

General terms and conditions for e-shops: from CZK 10,000 (without VAT)

The service includes:

• Checking the existing general terms and conditions, modifying them (e.g. supplementing or updating in accordance with any changes in legal regulations), or writing new general terms and conditions tailored to your e-shop.

Establishment of a limited liability company: from CZK 8,000 (without VAT)

The service includes:

• Drafting a Memorandum of Association, preparation of mandatory documents for members of a company, director and administrator of capital, securing the date of establishment of the company with a notary and personal participation with the client at the notary’s office, securing trade licenses for the established company on the basis of a power of attorney, ensuring the registration of the company in the Commercial Register.
• In the case of full client cooperation, i.e. the composition of the registered capital in the bank and providing of consent with the placement of the registered office (we can help with the establishment of a virtual registered office), we’ll ensure registration of the company in the Commercial Register in 3-5 working days.

The price of the service does not include:

• The notary’s fee and administrative fee at the Trade Register and Commercial Register, approximately CZK 10,000.
