Mgr. Daniel Macek

I’m a member of the Czech Bar Association, Rotary International and many other organizations. After passing my bar exams in November 2011, I became an Attorney and Manager of the legal department of NSG Morison, where I gained not only practical legal experience, but also fantastic business experience. The business area of law is exactly my cup of tea.
In January 2014, I opened my own office in the centre of Prague. In addition to my work, also my hobby, I like to relax while playing sports. When I’m not concentrating on perfecting my swing on the fairway, I organize charity tournaments, so I can help those in need.
I specialise in corporate law, real estate law, debt collection and intellectual property law, notably trademarks.

After studying at the University of Antwerp in Belgium (International and European Legal Studies Program) and graduating from the Faculty of Law of Charles University in 2018, I started working as an associate at MACEK.LEGAL. Studying abroad vastly improved my English; I now love to write professional publications and provide legal services to our foreign language clients. In April 2022, I passed the Bar exams to become an attorney and started working with MACEK.LEGAL as a cooperating attorney.
I’m coming up with fresh ideas and unwind with a yoga mat beneath my feet. Outside of work and the bustling city, you’ll catch me travelling, hiking nature’s finest trails, or drinking a glass of wine with friends.
I specialise in corporate law (mainly company formation and changes), civil law, real estate law, and trademarks.

In 2020, I successfully defended my diploma thesis focused on the use of forensic psychology in criminal law, and I passed my final state examinations at the Faculty of Law of the University of West Bohemia in Pilsen. During my studies, I worked in two law firms in Prague as a paralegal, and acquired basic but valuable knowledge on how a law firm works and learned how to communicate better with clients and colleagues. Since 2020, I have been working as an associate at MACEK.LEGAL where I further develop my experience in this profession.
I specialize in civil law (especially disputes arising from work contracts and other contractual matters), trademarks, and criminal law is no stranger to me either.
My hobbies include forensic psychology, reading books, and since my family consists of four-legged pets, my biggest hobby is taking care of them.
Mezi mé záliby patří forenzní psychologie, čtení knížek, a jelikož mou rodinu tvoří i čtyřnozí miláčkové, je mou největší zálibou starost o ně.

In 2020, I successfully graduated from the Faculty of Law at Charles University. During my studies, I worked in an IT company as a legal analyst and completed several internships, for example in a non-governmental organization focused on medical law and at the bailiff’s office. After a short experience in the public sphere, I anchored in the law office MACEK.LEGAL, where I found out that working as an associate is the right choice.
I focus mainly on civil, contract, real estate, and trademark law.
I like to spend my free time with family and friends, travelling or playing sports – such as roller skating and training on a climbing wall.
